About the role

The West Hartford Public Schools seeks to fill a position for an Interim Visual Arts teacher at Webster Hill Elementary School. The anticipated end of the assignment for this position is March 5th, 2027.

Responsibilities

• Teach visual arts curriculum aligned with state standards
• Plan and implement lessons that engage students in creative expression
• Assess student progress and provide feedback
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student learning
• Participate in professional development opportunities

• Strong background in visual arts education
• Experience teaching elementary school students
