Interim Director, Managed Care & Payment Integrity

About the role

The Interim Director, Managed Care & Payment Integrity, will oversee day-to-day financial operations throughout the facility. This leader will focus on ongoing department initiatives including payor negotiations, managed care strategies, met-revenue reimbursement, payment integrity, payor escalation, and denials prevention. Key responsibilities include assessing Revenue Cycle operations, improving payor negotiations and contracting, and optimizing Revenue Cycle workflows. The interim leader will provide strong leadership and mentorship to staff while fostering a positive work environment centered on communication, collaboration, and employee engagement.

Must be available to start within 2–3 weeks of acceptance.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day financial operations of the facility
  • Lead payor negotiations and managed care strategies
  • Improve met-revenue reimbursement and payment integrity
  • Handle payor escalation and denials prevention
  • Assess and optimize Revenue Cycle operations and workflows
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to staff
  • Implement and maintain a positive work environment

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is required
  • Oklahoma market experience is strongly preferred

Pay

Compensation range: $170,000 to $175,000 annually. The final rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations.
