Interim Director, Ambulatory Nursing Operations
About the Role
An Interim Director, Ambulatory Nursing Operations, is needed to provide leadership for ambulatory nursing operations across multiple outpatient practices, overseeing approximately 94 FTEs and ensuring continuity during a critical leadership transition.
Responsibilities
- Mentor supervisors and nursing leaders, strengthen accountability, and foster a culture of collaboration, performance, and operational excellence.
- Partner with executive and clinical leadership to advance quality initiatives, workforce strategies, and key operational projects across the ambulatory network.
- Support implementation of strategic initiatives, including Epic triage integration, KPI development, and retention and population health programs.
- Drive operational stability by optimizing nursing workflows, enhancing leadership effectiveness, and developing sustainable processes for long-term success.
Requirements
- BSN is required; master's degree in nursing, healthcare administration, business administration, or related field is required.
- Active MA RN license is required.
- Must be available to start within 2–3 weeks of acceptance.
Compensation
Compensation Range: $180,000 to $185,000 annually.
