Interim Controller (CONTRACT)

About the role

Oversee all day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, billing, cash management, and month-end close.

Maintain balance sheet integrity, including reconciliations and supporting schedules.

Support preparation of P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting for management and corporate stakeholders.

Oversee and administer company 401(k) plan, including compliance, reporting, audits, and coordination with 3rd party administrators.

Ensure accurate and timely payroll tax filings and payments (federal, state, and local).

Manage sales and use tax compliance, registrations, and audit support.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• 7 years+ progressive accounting and finance experience.
• Required bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• CPA nice to have.
• Experience in healthcare industry nice to have.
