About the role

An Interim Clinical Manager, Respiratory Therapy, is needed to provide leadership for Respiratory Therapy operations, overseeing daily planning, scheduling, education, and clinical performance. The Interim Clinical Manager will promote evidence-based practice, patient safety, and a strong culture of accountability across the respiratory care team. Lead quality improvement and innovation initiatives while partnering with interdisciplinary teams to improve clinical outcomes and patient experience. Assess current operations, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement collaborative strategies that strengthen departmental effectiveness. Serve as a transformational leader and mentor, fostering team development, encouraging engagement, and building a culture of continuous improvement. Must be available to start within 2–3 weeks of acceptance.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for Respiratory Therapy operations, including daily planning, scheduling, education, and clinical performance.
• Promote evidence-based practice, patient safety, and a culture of accountability.
• Lead quality improvement and innovation initiatives in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
• Assess current operations and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Implement strategies to strengthen departmental effectiveness.
• Mentor and foster team development, engagement, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist license from the National Board of Respiratory Care is required.
• Active BCLS and PALS certifications are required.
• A minimum of three years of experience in pediatric respiratory care is required.

Pay

Compensation range: $165,000 to $175,000 annually. The final rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations.
