Interim Cath Lab Manager

About the role

An Interim Cath Lab Manager is needed to provide hands-on operational leadership, stabilize Cath Lab operations, and drive meaningful workflow and cultural improvements. Reporting to the Director of Cardiovascular Services, this leader will oversee approximately 30 FTEs.

Key responsibilities

• Assessing current staffing, workflows, scheduling, and throughput to identify opportunities for improvement while building credibility with the team and partnering closely with department leadership
• Driving improvements in room turnover and pre/post patient flow
• Strengthening scheduling practices and establishing greater operational stability while increasing efficiency, improving patient throughput, and reducing excessive call burden on staff

• Hands-on, approachable leader who can quickly build trust and credibility with staff while navigating a challenging culture and driving meaningful change
• Comfortable setting clear expectations, holding teams accountable, and collaborating with staff and leadership to improve performance
• Able to remain flexible, solutions-oriented, and engaged in day-to-day operations
• Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required
• Active RN or Cath Lab technologist background required
• Appropriate RN licensure or relevant Cath Lab credentials, such as RCIS, required based on professional background
• Significant Cath Lab operational leadership experience required, including demonstrated experience with workflow redesign, process improvement, patient throughput, scheduling, volume growth, and change management

Pay

Pay Range: $160,000 - $170,000 annually. The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation.
