Interim Associate Director of Communications (6-Month Contract)

About the role

The Interim Associate Director of Communications will provide strategic leadership in developing and implementing communications strategies that support the organization’s mission and goals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive communication plans to enhance brand awareness and engagement.
• Manage media relations, including press releases, media interviews, and crisis communications.
• Oversee internal communications initiatives to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement marketing campaigns.
• Monitor and analyze communication metrics to inform future strategy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in communications or a related field.
• Proven track record in managing and executing successful communication campaigns.
• Strong understanding of digital and traditional media channels.
• Excellent writing and editing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
