Interim AP Speciliast

Responsibilities

• Process high-volume invoices and ensure timely and accurate payment processing
• Review invoices for proper coding, approvals, and supporting documentation
• Manage vendor communications and respond to internal and external inquiries
• Reconcile vendor statements and investigate discrepancies
• Research and resolve invoice, payment, and account-related issues
• Maintain vendor records and support vendor onboarding activities
• Assist with payment processing, including electronic payments and other disbursement methods
• Support month-end close activities through reconciliations, reporting schedules, and account analysis
• Aid in audit requests and provide supporting documentation as needed
• Identify opportunities to improve accounts payable processes, controls, and operational efficiency

Requirements

• 2+ years of Accounts Payable or accounting operations experience
• Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and accounting fundamentals
• Experience working with ERP or accounting systems
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment

Pay

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco by Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors, including but not limited to: The individual's skill sets, experience, and training; Licensure and certifications; Office location and other geographic considerations; Other business and organizational needs.

Benefits
