INTERDISCIPLINARY ENGINEER/SCIENTIST

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• Define, develop, and coordinate program plans for the development, manufacture and support of advanced systems.
• Plans the approach and design using quantitative methodologies for evaluating experimental upgrades to existing EO/IR sensors, design of EO/IR systems using COTS technology, including the integration into both fleet and test aircraft.
• Provide technical recommendations regarding Naval performance specifications utilizing the Systems Engineering Process.
• Be a subject matter expert on a multidisciplinary team to develop, evaluate and experiment with EO/IR systems.
