INTERDISCIPLINARY ENGINEER/ SCIENTIST

Interdisciplinary Engineer/Scientist (General Engineer/Electrical Engineer/Electronics Engineer/Computer Scientist) in the Battlespace Division of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Chief Engineer for Battlespace Division, maintaining technical cognizance of the Air Combat Environment Test and Evaluation Facility (ACETEF) architecture overall.
• Maintain the architectural elements provided by the Division, including environments, interfaces, and visualization capabilities (where applicable).
• Provide technical expertise in strategic architecture and systems engineering (requirements, verification, modeling and simulation, computer sciences, enabling technologies and concepts, development and test processes).
• Develop and maintain Division long-range strategic investment roadmaps and plans, obtaining needed resources from Command activities.
• Manage Division Navy Improvement and Modernization efforts and joint service development projects.
• Prepare and present technical papers and presentations.

Pay

$143,913 – $197,200 per year
