Responsibilities
- Build plans to manage intercompany material flow, including physical material staging and end-to-end logistics execution.
- Partner with Central Planning and Production Planning teams to make allocation decisions, ensuring key collaborators are aware and aligned with the allocation plan.
- Actively monitor demand indicators to place purchase orders for direct raw material component requirements between nVent locations.
- Manage dates on open orders and monitor execution of internal nVent teams to meet intercompany demand.
- Maintain data integrity of key detailed fields related to demand signaling to ensure accurate purchase order placement.
- Proactively use data to work with Buyer Analysts and Strategic Sourcing Team to identify potential supply risks and implement solutions.
- Provide detailed information on material availability encouraged cross-functionally with Production Planning, Operations, and other teams.
- Leverage analytics to understand inventory levels and efficient stock positions of raw material components.
- Lead efforts to optimize procedures related to the procurement of raw material components.
- Collaborate with Production, Market, and Receiving teams to coordinate return material authorization efforts for defective or non-conforming material.
- Interact regularly with cross-functional teams to ensure the intercompany supply chain functions effectively.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, or a related field highly preferred.
- Experience working within Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).
- Familiarity with Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) programs.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate with different cross-functional teams.
- Robust organizational abilities, including time management, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
- Capacity to leverage data and analytics to inform decision-making or forecast future requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Qualifications
- Preferred Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
- 3+ years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, or a related field.

Pay
$62,900.00 - $116,900.00 Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
