Interaction Designer, Prime Video Experience Design (PVXD)

The Prime Video UX team is seeking a customer-obsessed Interaction Designer to define, articulate, and build prototypes for new AI-driven features that take personalization and browsing to the next level. This role will lead with clarity and empathy, inspire others, and have a passion for solving problems at massive scale.

About the Role

Support and work alongside other product designers across the full spectrum of the UX design process from discovery and research to concept development, wireframes, and high-fidelity mocks. Collaborate with business leaders, engineers, product managers, and other UX designers to pressure test ideas through tactical visual execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Craft end-to-end customer experiences for Prime Video, from sketches through functional prototypes.
• Experience in bringing prototypes to life through visual design, motion design, micro-interactions, and animation.
• Leverage design systems across multiple devices and formats.
• Solve customer problems through measurable improvements that drive discovery and engagement.
• Partner with engineering and product to imagine, build, and test prototypes that allow gathering feedback on ideas and using that feedback to iterate and continuously improve.
• Develop and maintain detailed user interface and interaction specifications.
• Present design work to the user experience team, product team, and project stakeholders for review and feedback.

A Day in the Life

The Interaction Designer for Prime Video will join a new team focused on prototyping and testing interactive AI-driven experiences. They will turn whiteboard sketches and user stories into innovative design concepts that are personalized, responsive to user feedback, and help customers explore and discover the Prime Video's expansive library of entertainment content.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of design experience
• An available online portfolio
• Experience in prototyping
• Experience with Figma and other prototyping tools

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a highly agile environment
• Experience working in a collaborative multi-disciplinary team and working directly with developers for implementation of designs
• Experience designing for interactive digital platforms
