About the role

NYP/Lawrence Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physician - General Surgery: Critical Care to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care surgery and be committed to providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive surgical care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Perform complex surgical procedures in a high-acuity environment.
• Conduct rounds and provide clinical guidance to nursing staff and other healthcare providers.
• Participate in research activities and contribute to the advancement of medical knowledge.

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school.
• Current New York State Medical License.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program in General Surgery.
• Experience in critical care surgery preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay

$XX/X per hour or $XXXXX/X annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
