About the Role
Work alongside full-time and part-time critical care board-certified physicians to cover day shifts in the 15-bed ICU. Night coverage is provided by an onsite Senior Internal Medicine resident with an ICU Intern and Sound tele-ICU oversight.
Responsibilities
- Treat medical, surgical, and cardiovascular ICU patients.
- Provide services including CRRT/HD, Impella, structural heart program with all capabilities, and TAVR.
- Collaborate with cardiothoracic surgeons and other team members to lead care for ICU patients.
Requirements
- Board-certified/eligible in critical care medicine.
- Prior experience and interest in teaching internal medicine residents.
- Ability to manage a high volume of complex cases, including critical interventions such as intubations, central lines, arterial lines, and ventilation management.
- Critical Care fellows are welcome to apply.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
Schedule
- 12-hour on-site day shifts.
- 15 shifts per month, block shift schedule.
Pay
$475,000 annual compensation based on 15, 12-hour shifts per month, with competitive shift-based compensation and a sign-on bonus.
