Intensivist, Cardiothoracic Critical Care

About the role

The successful candidate will join a dynamic team of clinicians, educators, and researchers at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. They will contribute to the future vision for critical care services at Northwestern Medicine, one of the premier academic medical systems in the nation. Additionally, they will work alongside highly-ranked Cardiac and Thoracic Surgery teams, which are undergoing rapid expansion.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care to cardiac and thoracic surgery patients with established clinical expertise.
• Contribute to academic interests in basic, translational, clinical trial, or health services outcomes research.
• Focus on delivering critical care in multiple cardiothoracic intensive care units at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
• Contribute to the education of Medical Students and residents.

Requirements

• Board certified in their primary specialty and critical care.
• Able to obtain permanent Illinois licensure.

• Established clinical expertise in critical care.
• Ability to contribute to academic interests in various areas.
• Experience in delivering care to cardiac and thoracic surgery patients.
• Ability to obtain permanent Illinois licensure.

Pay

Salary Range: $403,410 - $494,535
