Responsibilities

  • Hire, train, supervise, and schedule staff to ensure adequate coverage and quality care.
  • Ensure residents receive appropriate care, support, and opportunities for personal growth, including assistance with daily living activities and healthcare needs.
  • Develop and maintain budgets, manage overtime and other finances, and ensure the home operates within established financial parameters.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations and licensing requirements.
  • Oversee the physical environment of the home, ensuring it is safe, clean, and well-maintained.
  • Maintain effective communication with residents, staff, families, and external agencies.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to residents, staff, finances, and operations.
  • Provide direction for the day-to-day operation of the group home.
  • Ensure treatment interventions are maintained and communicated through various shifts.
  • Provide input regarding resident care and supervision to interested parties.
  • Lead and participate in the development of Individual Treatment Plans and coordinate individual/group/family therapies.
  • Enforce safety procedures and residents’ rights strictly.
  • Manage the day-to-day finances of residents and the group home.
  • Oversee the maintenance of residents, assigned vehicles, and other equipment.
  • Participate as a treatment team member for all residents' cases in the group home.
  • Adhere to and recognize State of Montana licensing standards, including actively participating in yearly licensing reviews.
  • Provide employee supervision, counseling, and direction as needed, including completing performance evaluations.
  • Plan, escort, participate in, and supervise residents during community and group activities, including recreational, leisure, vocational, and educational activities to build skills and develop appropriate coping mechanisms.
  • Work toward achieving key performance indicators on a regular and consistent basis.
  • Attend and participate in mandatory training, in-services, staff meetings, and corporate committees as assigned.
  • Upon hiring, undergo training and pass testing in the following areas: H.E.L.P (de-escalation and therapeutic holds), Medication Certification, First Aid/CPR, Blood Borne Pathogens, Client/Employee Health and Safety, and Behavior Intervention Skills.

Requirements

  • A BS/BA Degree in the Human Services Field or at least four (4) years of direct employment experience, in addition to holding a supervisory or leadership position for two (2) years.
  • Must have, or be willing to obtain, a valid Montana Driver’s License.
  • Must have an acceptable driving record and pass a criminal background check.

Pay

$75,400.00 annually.
