About the role

The Intensive Program Clinician I provides direct intensive community treatment services for individuals in the REACH program diagnosed with behavioral health diagnoses. They work as part of the REACH team to ensure services and resources are coordinated among providers as needed to help individuals served live and participate optimally in the community.

Responsibilities

  • Provides individual and group therapy sessions
  • Collaborates with other professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Assesses and monitors client progress towards treatment goals
  • Coordinates services and resources with other providers as needed
  • Participates in regular team meetings to discuss client progress and plan interventions

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited university with a Master’s Degree in social work, psychology or human services related field
  • State of Virginia Professional licensure eligibility required
  • At least one year of clinical experience working with individuals with serious mental illness, substance use disorders, developmental and/or intellectual disabilities, preferred

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of community resources and services
  • Ability to manage caseloads and meet deadlines

Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Pay

$54,600 - Depending on Experience

Schedule

Starting Salary: $54,600-Depending on Experience

Education/Experience Required: Graduation from an accredited university with a Master’s Degree in social work, psychology or human services related field is required. State of Virginia Professional licensure eligibility required. At least one year of clinical experience working with individuals with serious mental illness, substance use disorders, developmental and/or intellectual disabilities, preferred.

Additional compensation will be considered for any new employees who speak multiple languages.

Sign on Bonus: $5,000
