Intensive Care Coordinator Internship- MA Level
About the role
JRI’s Community Based Services division provides care to ensure that families and their children with significant behavioral, emotional, and mental health needs obtain the services necessary for success in the home, school, and community. We are looking for interns working in their 2nd year of their clinical Master's degree program to join our Community Service Agency (CSA) team of Boston at Dimock.
Responsibilities
- Utilize strength-based and needs-driven choices in providing services to families and children.
- Collaborate with the people we work with in a team-based approach grounded in individualized services and evidence-based practices.
- Gain supervision from licensed and experienced staff to support clinical growth towards degree completion.
Requirements
- Minimum enrolled and working towards a Master’s degree or above in the mental health field, social work, or psychology.
- Clinical interest in working with children/adolescents is required and familiarity with trauma informed models of treatment preferred.
- Good written and oral communication skills are necessary.
