About the role
Damar is seeking an Intensive Behavioral Intervention Associate to provide direct behavior management consultation services. This includes client observation, developing and documenting behavior management plans, direct intervention, staff and family training, and service coordination.
Responsibilities
- Provides comprehensive functional assessment of behavior for each client served
- Maintains prescribed level of productivity
- Trains staff regarding behavior management plans/approaches
- Implements, coordinates, monitors, documents, evaluates, and revises behavior programs as approved by the Manager or Director
- Interacts professionally with parents, teachers, staff, and other providers
- Keeps abreast of current treatment technology, literature, practices, and regulations
- Submits documentation (behavior plans, monthly notes, etc.) in a timely fashion
Requirements
- Master’s degree in applied behavioral analysis; social work; psychology; counseling; or a related human services area of study
- Minimum age of 21 per licensure requirements
- Valid Indiana driver’s license and driving record meeting eligibility requirements of Damar’s insurance carrier (for all positions requiring driving)
- Clear of any felony convictions, substantiated charges of neglect or other disqualifying criminal convictions
- Successfully completes a pre-employment physical
- Favorably meets and maintains Damar’s background screening
