Job Summary We are seeking an Intelligent Automation Engineer to support enterprise automation initiatives with a focus on Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Intelligent Document Processing (IDP), and system integrations. This role designs, builds, and integrates automation solutions using established RPA platforms while enabling advanced capabilities through Azure AI and/or Google Vertex AI where appropriate. The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, automation developers, and AI platform teams to deliver scalable, secure, and well-integrated solutions. With guidance, the engineer recommends solution approaches and provides technical direction across the development lifecycle, including configuration, testing, and implementation, ensuring high-quality solutions are delivered on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities Develop, configure, test, and deploy automation solutions that align with business needs and deliver measurable outcomes.Provide support, root cause analysis, and debugging to meet established SLAs and maintain operational stability.Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and integrate automation solutions with existing enterprise systems, APIs, and databases.Communicate effectively with diverse technical and non-technical audiences; facilitate cross-functional meetings to accomplish objectives and resolve issues.Ensure compliance with Center of Excellence (CoE) standards, security policies, and change management practices.Partner with teammates to develop, configure, test, and implement processes that meet defined requirements with high-quality builds on time and on budget.Participate in Agile teams to deliver iterative improvements and manage change effectively.Evaluate the feasibility of business requirements and translate them into effective, scalable automation solutions.Stay current with emerging technologies and continuously improve solution design. Requirements Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience (required) Experience & Skills Hands-on experience with Automation Anywhere (A360) RPA platformExperience with process simulation/automation, solution development, and/or business analysisFamiliarity with Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) tools such as ABBYY or equivalent OCR/IDP technologiesUnderstanding of system integration concepts including REST APIs, JSON/XML, authentication, and error handlingWorking knowledge of process engineering software systemsExcellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiencesAnalytical thinker and problem-solver with ability to troubleshoot by gathering, interpreting, and analyzing dataAbility to support multiple projects, tasks, and responsibilities concurrently Preferred Qualifications Experience integrating with Azure AI services and/or Google Vertex AIExperience or knowledge in banking/financial services industryFamiliarity with cloud architectures and AI/ML service consumption patterns Application Requirements All candidates must provide written answers to the following questions when submitting their resume: Describe an RPA or IDP solution you have designed or implemented, including the platforms used and whether the solution is in production.Explain your experience integrating automation solutions with other systems or applications, such as APIs, databases, or enterprise platforms.Describe any experience you have integrating automation solutions with cloud-based AI services such as Azure AI or Google Vertex AI.How do you evaluate whether a business process is a good candidate for automation, including feasibility and risk considerations?Provide an example of supporting an automation in post-production deployment, such as troubleshooting, root cause analysis, or meeting SLAs.
