About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform sanctions investigations, including drafting designation packages using authorities held by government clients
  • Start with performing complex intelligence research and analysis
  • Draft a sanctions designation evidentiary memorandum
  • Adjudicate the sanctions designation clearance process
  • Use commercial databases, access corporate and financial records, and perform supply chain and corporate structure mapping
  • Perform assessments, including pertaining to impact, regions, industries, and economies
  • Cook up with different federal government agencies, including the Intelligence Community

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Active Top Secret security clearance, with SCI eligibility, required
  • 1+ years of experience with all-source intelligence, research based writing, or political analysis
  • Ability to perform job responsibilities within a work model that requires co-location in person 5 days per week in Washington, D.C.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Preferred

  • Russian, Chinese/Mandarin, Korean, or other critical language skills
  • Maritime, shipping, oil, gas, economic, narcotics trafficking, human rights, or regional/foreign policy knowledge or experience

Pay

A reasonable estimate of the current range is $60,100 to $100,100.
