About the Role

This role is built for someone who already has 1-3 years in market research, expert networks, or research operations, and is ready for more responsibility than that experience has earned them so far. The skills you've spent the last years building — sourcing experts, running high-stakes conversations, managing client relationships — are exactly the foundation this role is built on, applied to a faster-moving, AI-native platform rather than a legacy process. Your work will support research initiatives across economic sectors and industries. As an early team member at a fast-moving startup, this role is a launchpad: you'll have real ownership over client relationships and research strategy early on, with direct visibility into senior leadership and the ability to shape how the team scales. Responsibility grows quickly here, tied to what you can prove out rather than tenure.

What The Day-to-day Looks Like

  • Client communication. Own client relationships and research programs end-to-end, from scoping through delivery
  • Data quality. Ensure data quality through analysis and follow-up, and present insights directly to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Expert outreach. Identify and manage the right experts and participants for research studies, and help shape what each study needs to answer
  • Product strategy. Contribute to how our AI-moderated research product evolves, based on what you see in the field
  • Scale. Build the playbooks and processes that scale as the team grows, with a path to managing associates over time

Who This Role Is For

  • 1-3+ years in market research, expert networks, or research operations, ideally in a coordination or associate capacity
  • Experience with experts & sample recruiting, surveys, and interviews
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Self-starter mentality, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment

What Sets You Apart

  • You see a problem and fix it, without waiting to be asked
  • You're looking to accelerate your career, not repeat the last two years of it
  • You think strategically about growth opportunities, not just task completion
  • You have prior experience in fast-paced, high-accountability environments
  • You are willing to learn and adapt, and you think big

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $110K–$140K depending on experience
  • Equity: Meaningful early-stage grant with upside tied to company growth
  • Benefits: Health coverage, flexible PTO, paid holidays
  • Location: Full-time, in-person in New York City (in-office Monday–Wednesday, WFH Thursday–Friday)
