Intelligence Analyst I(National Security Mission Support)
About the role
Agile Defense is seeking qualified professionals to support national security intelligence and operational analysis missions within a multi-agency federal environment. This work supports critical government efforts focused on identity resolution, threat screening, intelligence analysis, and information sharing across the U.S. national security and law enforcement community.
Responsibilities
Potential responsibilities may include:
- Apply both qualitative and quantitative analytical techniques to aggregate, assess, and analyze threats, intelligence reporting, personal identifiers, and biometric data, and draw logical fact-based recommendations and conclusions in accordance with client Standard Operating Procedures and Guidelines.
- Understand management principles and administrative processes, including communication channels, record-keeping, correspondence routing, and organizational structure.
- Possess strong oral and written communication skills to effectively present findings, ask probing questions, and collaborate with staff to gather mission-critical information.
- Extract, analyze, and synthesize intelligence data from multiple complex sources to support threat analysis, screening, and support for client unit operations.
- Consistently apply complex guidance and standard procedures, and perform additional assigned duties as needed.
Requirements
Selected applicants may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- Bachelor’s Degree and at least 3 years of relevant experience; 4 additional years of experience may be substituted in place of a degree.
- Background in intelligence analysis, national security, law enforcement, or related mission environments.
- Experience conducting research and analysis using multiple information systems.
- Familiarity with intelligence processes, analytical methodologies, or operational mission environments.
- Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced mission support environments.
Qualifications
Required experience includes:
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a CI Polygraph.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in mission-focused environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in operational settings.
Preferred experience includes:
- Experience supporting federal law enforcement, intelligence community, or national security missions.
- Experience working in multi-agency environments.
- Familiarity with analytical databases and intelligence research tools.
- Experience working in operational or shift-based mission environments.
Working Conditions
The employee will work in a climate-controlled office environment performing desk-based duties. This role does not require physical exertion beyond standard office movements and travel is not expected.
