About the role

The Full Motion Video (FMV) Analyst position provides hands‑on FMV training for all intelligence disciplines, advanced skills certification, and rapid promotion into instructor, subject‑matter expert, and management roles. BAE Systems leads FMV exploitation and seeks individuals ready to begin a dynamic intelligence career while supporting a critical global counter‑terrorism mission.

Responsibilities

  • Learn FMV tradecraft through a three‑week formal training course followed by robust on‑the‑job training.
  • Produce imagery‑derived graphic products and reports for distribution.
  • Compile intelligence materials for briefings to high‑level government personnel.
  • Input data accurately and timely; exploit FMV collected by ISR sensors, applying HUMINT and SIGINT information.
  • Use an electronic light table to exploit NTM imagery in softcopy.
  • Participate in rapid advancement pathways and cross‑training opportunities into SAR/GMTI, FMV training, and FMV Advanced Research positions.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of intelligence experience OR a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a related field.
  • Completion of a formal intelligence school course (typically 2+ months full‑time) resulting in an Intelligence MOS (e.g., All‑Source, IMINT, SIGINT, HUMINT).
  • Typing speed of 45 words per minute with 90% accuracy without looking at the keyboard.
  • Ability to accurately discern red, green, blue, and yellow colors on a video screen.
  • Understanding of the basic intelligence cycle/process (TCPED).

Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of national‑level imagery product standards.
  • Experience exploiting Full Motion Video with knowledge of sensor capabilities.
  • Experience exploiting national imagery with basic imagery analysis skills.
  • Ability to relay and articulate information during high‑tempo operations.
  • Background in counter‑terrorism analysis.
  • Capability to solve routine tasks of varying scope following standard procedures.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Schedule

Rotating shift schedule, typically 7 am – 7 pm or 7 pm – 7 am, alternating days and nights each month, including weekends and holidays.

Pay

Full‑Time Salary Range: $63,653 – $108,210 (range based on market pay structures; actual salary determined by factors such as qualifications, experience, and internal equity).
