Intellectual Property Litigation Associate

About the role

Wiggin and Dana LLP is seeking an experienced Intellectual Property Litigation Associate for our Connecticut, New York, or Boston office locations. Candidates must have leading law firm experience in IP related litigation, with a focus on patent litigation. An Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Physics background is preferred. Outstanding academic credentials and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and conduct complex patent litigation cases
• Prepare and present legal arguments to judges and juries
• Collaborate with clients and colleagues to develop and implement litigation strategies
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case positions
• Prepare and review pleadings, motions, and other legal documents

Requirements

• JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school
• Admitted to practice law in at least one state or the District of Columbia
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant legal experience
• Experience in patent litigation preferred

Pay

The target base pay range for this role in New York is $200,000-$260,000.
