Intellectual Disability - Area Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day supervision and guidance to assigned program staff
• Lead team meetings and ensure clear, consistent communication across teams
• Participate in leadership and management meetings to drive program strategy
• Support program development and problem-solving initiatives
• Collaborate with clinical teams on individual support plans and treatment processes
• Monitor program documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards
• Ensure high-quality care, safety, and well-being for individuals supported
• Serve as Incident Management point person for assigned programs
• Assist with budget development and monitor program expenses
• Maintain program productivity and utilization standards
• Support referral assessment and placement decisions
• Maintain strong communication with families/guardians regarding care planning and updates
• Represent the organization in community engagement and public speaking opportunities
• Participate in county and service area planning activities
• Ensure proper staffing levels and on-call coverage as needed

Qualifications

• Education & Experience: One Required - High school diploma or equivalent and six years of relevant experience
• Education & Experience: Associate’s degree and four years of relevant experience
• Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree and two years of relevant experience
• Education & Experience: Master’s degree and one year of relevant experience
• Additional Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of supervisory or management experience
• Additional Qualifications: Experience with regulatory compliance preferred
• Additional Qualifications: Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• Additional Qualifications: Ability to learn and utilize web-based systems and documentation tools
• Additional Qualifications: Valid driver’s license and access to properly insured vehicle
• Additional Qualifications: Successful completion of the pre-employment process, including clearances and verifications
