INTEL Mask Operations Module Development Engineer

This position is in the Intel Mask Operations within the Logic Technology Development team working in one of the most advanced semiconductor process technologies in the world. The engineer will be an integral contributor to the ongoing production of photolithography masks for Intel's leading-edge silicon manufacturing solutions.

About the role

In this on-site position, you will work in a dynamic and collaborative environment solving complex and challenging technical problems on sophisticated manufacturing processes and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Process equipment installation and development.
  • Equipment maintenance, management of troubleshooting activities, regular monitoring of process performance, defect analysis and reduction.
  • Drives improvements on quality, reliability, cost, yield, process stability/capability, productivity, and safety/ergonomics.
  • Works with cross-functional teams to solve technical process and defect issues.
  • Plans and conducts experiments to fully characterize the process throughout the development cycle.
  • Establishes control systems to optimize and sustain production performance.
  • Develops strategies to resolve difficult problems and establishes systems to manage these problems in the future.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • MS degree in Physics, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Chemistry.
  • 3+ months of experience with scientific equipment or semiconductor process experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated working knowledge of photomask manufacturing and process technology.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of design of experiments, process control methodology, data analysis skills in tools such as JMP, SQL, etc.
  • Cleanroom experience.
  • Statistical Process Control (SPC) or Design of Experiments (DOE) principles and engineering analysis tools.

Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry-relevant job experience, internship experiences, and/or schoolwork/classes/research.

Skills

  • Experience with rapid analysis of complex process issues and identification of a solution path.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction, self-directing, and showing initiative.
  • Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to summarize complex data sets for technical and non-technical audiences.

Pay

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $99,030.00 - $139,810.00 USD. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
