Intel Analyst

Location: Arlington, VA

Clearance Level: TS/SCI (Must Be Able to Obtain)

This position requires the ability to deploy for two-month periods to the U.S. Naval Station, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

About the Role

SAIC is seeking an Intelligence Analyst to support the Department of War (DoW), Office of General Counsel (OGC). The Intelligence Analyst will be part of a mobile team traveling to U.S. Naval Station, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, to support mission-critical requirements of the DoW OGC.

Responsibilities

• Perform various tasks in furtherance of relevant court orders to support DoD-OGC priorities.
• Coordinate and interact daily with appropriate officials, agencies, and personnel while deployed.
• Assist with effective compliance of relevant court orders and other agreements, with the knowledge and concurrence of the team lead.
• Facilitate the secure transmittal of classified and controlled information, including processing, transmitting, and transporting legal documents.
• Serve as action officers for issues related to relevant court orders.
• Keep the team lead apprised of all activities and procedural issues associated with job requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years of experience (years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).
• Minimum of five years of military or civilian intelligence/counterintelligence, law enforcement, or security experience.
• Experience working with classified materials and sensitive information.
• Working knowledge of DoD security classification guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience working within the DoW, particularly on security and legal issues.
• Experience with the Department of Justice, the Federal Court System, the Federal Court of Appeals, and Court-issued orders.
• Experience in positions requiring understanding of tactical, strategic, signals, and counterintelligence.
• A graduate degree from an accredited institution (desired).

Pay

Target salary range: $80,001 – $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
