Integrative or Functional Medicine Nurse Practitioner- Minneapolis
Principle Responsibilities
- Provides clinical care for patients
- Completes comprehensive patient assessments
- Determines diagnosis and treatment of illness
- Prescribes medications, treatments, therapy and medical equipment
- Conducts patient education when working to manage chronic illness or wellness care
- Refers for specialty care when determined
- Participates in health care team
- Promotes communication within the team and other interdisciplinary health care staff
- Acts as resource to members of the team
- Collaborates with system teams for program development
- Acts as liaison with outside agencies as needed
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree - Completion of accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Licensed Registered Nurse - MN Board of Nursing required upon hire
- Certified Nurse Practitioner - MN Board of Nursing required upon hire
- Certified Nurse Practitioner - American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) certification within specialty required upon hire
- Drug Enforcement Administration required upon hire
- Valid Driver’s License required upon hire - MN and WI residents must obtain a valid driver’s license in their state of residence within 60 days of employment for those working in Complex Care for Seniors, Community Palliative Care and Hospice
- BLS Tier 1-Basic Life Support-Multisource required
- Physical Demands: Medium Work*: Lifting weight up to 32 lbs. occasionally (*Allina Safe Patient Moving Policy), up to 25 lbs. frequently
Pay Range
Pay Range: $56.48 to $78.15 per hour
The pay described reflects the base hiring pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable).
Schedule
Shift, weekend and/or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for certain shifts or work.
