Integration Specialist

Responsibilities

• Perform customer system builds.
• Custom configure out of the box servers.
• Installation of additional hardware and update firmware.
• Raid/Bios/UEFI/OOB/OS configurations.
• Rack, cable and label servers and other related components in the Integration Lab and at client locations.
• Respond to, triage, and resolve tech support requests.
• Test and verify hardware and support peripherals to ensure that they meet specifications and requirements by collecting and recording data.
• Participate in the on-call rotation schedule; be available for after hours and weekends.
• Respond to non-urgent support calls within 4 hours and urgent support calls within 15 minutes.

Physical Requirements

• The physical requirements of this position require the ability to walk; sit, stand, use hands; reach with hands and arms; and climb or balance.
• Additional physical requirements may require the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Vision requirements include ability to adjust focus, depth perception, peripheral, distance, color and close vision.
• Willingness to endure on-site work in data centers for extended periods of time.

Education And/or Certifications

• Ideally, a candidate should also have a bachelor's degree or further certification in a computer science-related field.
• IT certifications such as CompTIA A+ is preferred.
