Duties
- Design, build, and maintain APIs and data flows between applications to support business objectives
- Meet with stakeholders and technical leads to understand required system integrations and present recommended workflows
- Map and translate data between different formats (e.g., XML, JSON, CSV) so different platforms can read it
- Diagnose and resolve integration bottlenecks, system errors, and data inconsistencies
- Ensure data exchange complies with industry standards, such as HIPAA for healthcare or DoD regulations for defense
- Create detailed documentation of API integrations and data workflows
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and experience working with APIs
- Scripting and development work with Javascripts and/or Python
