About the Role

The Integration Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining application and data integrations across systems, APIs, and services. This role collaborates with business and IT teams to analyze requirements, build scalable solutions, and support integration troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain system integrations and components, including application-to-application integrations, services, internal and external APIs, file transfers, and SQL queries.
• Fully participate in requirements analysis and decomposition, design, development, internal testing, and documentation of application-application integrations.
• Troubleshoot existing integrations and provide technical support to various IT teams to ensure correct interactions with new and existing software.
• Coordinate directly with business users, business analysts, and project teams to understand and analyze business specifications.
• Design integration solutions and document the design in accordance with best practices.
• Architect, design, build, and implement application integrations using third-party tools, built-in integration platforms, or APIs.
• Develop and maintain services used in application integrations.
• Develop and maintain data integration components such as SQL queries, stored procedures, data extraction and cleansing, and integration with system front-end components.
• Write SQL code to retrieve appropriate data as derived from requirements.
• Build reports and/or data extracts to support business analysis.
• Support development in resolving system defects, acting as a liaison, and developing solutions.
• Provide technical assistance to troubleshoot and resolve integration errors.

• In-depth knowledge of SQL, PL-SQL, or other RDBMS languages.
• Familiarity with database tools such as SQL Developer, integration architecture, and best practices.
• Strong familiarity with third-party software integration practices and tools such as MuleSoft or Jitterbit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance.
• 5-7 years of experience working with integration platforms.
• Prior experience working with ERP, HCM, or EPM software.
• Demonstrated experience in XML and experience with Java or .Net.
• Experience in structured release and deployment best practices.
• Demonstrated development experience across all levels of testing methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience writing Web Services, RESTful, or SOAP, as well as experience writing fault-tolerant code.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Workday Extend, Orchestrate, Adaptive Planning, and AI.
• Experience with Palantir.
• Workday Pro certification(s) (Integrations, Reporting, Extend, Adaptive Planning, etc.).

Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.
