Integration Manager, Tuck-In Acquisitions Remote, near a major airport | Up to 25% travel Company Overview A private equity-backed and rapidly growing platform in the hospitality sector is building a best-in-class M&A and integration capability to support aggressive acquisition activity across a multi-state footprint. The organization is focused on local, service-oriented operations, investing in systems and leadership to scale efficiently while protecting the seller and customer experience. Summary This group is hiring an Integration Manager to run its tuck-in acquisition program. Tuck-ins are smaller acquisitions folded into the company’s existing local operations. The program is growing quickly and will be running several dozen deals a year. This is a hands-on execution role. You’ll own each deal from signed LOI through close and go-live, typically within 30 days, while managing multiple active deals at a time. The playbook is established but still evolving. The right person runs it with discipline and isn’t afraid to spot what isn’t working and help fix it. Key Performance Outcomes Deal Execution from LOI to Closing: Manage each acquisition from signed Letter of Intent (LOI) through closing, targeting a 30-day timeline while ensuring due diligence is completed and operational readiness is verified before the transaction closes. Positive Seller Experience: Build strong relationships with sellers by providing clear communication, consistent guidance, and timely support throughout the acquisition process. Successful Operational Launch: Ensure each acquired business transitions smoothly to the local operating team, with employees and customers well-informed about relevant changes and next steps. Ongoing Process Improvement: Document lessons learned from completed transactions and incorporate improvements into the integration playbook to increase efficiency and consistency across future acquisitions. Primary Responsibilities Seller Relationship Management Act as the primary contact for business owners throughout the acquisition process, establishing trust and maintaining effective communication from LOI through closing. Guide sellers through transaction milestones and due diligence requirements, clearly explaining requested information, necessary documentation, and process expectations to create a smooth and well-organized experience. Acquisition Execution and Due Diligence Coordinate cross-functional teams across Finance, Operations, Information Technology, Human Resources, and Legal to ensure acquisition activities remain on schedule. Verify that due diligence requirements are completed and approved according to established standards, prior transaction experience, and internal guidelines. Identify areas requiring additional review or specialized expertise while preventing process gaps, overlapping efforts, and unnecessary delays. Operational Readiness and Integration Partner with local operational leaders to prepare acquired businesses for go-live, including customer communications, employee transition planning, and operational handoffs. Support post-closing integration and stabilization activities, tracking outstanding issues and coordinating their resolution until the acquired business reaches normal operating performance. Process Optimization Evaluate existing integration procedures, tools, and workflows to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to refine the integration playbook, standardize best practices, and support the growing volume of acquisitions. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related discipline. 3–5 years of experience in acquisition integration, project management office (PMO) functions, or acquisition onboarding. Experience managing multiple acquisitions within a roll-up strategy or multi-location organization is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent, cross-functional projects while maintaining strong attention to detail, timelines, and deliverables. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills, with strong emotional intelligence when working with business owners navigating the sale of their companies. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment while identifying opportunities to improve processes and execution. Familiarity with project management software, tools, and tracking methodologies. Experience with founder-led businesses or private equity-backed organizations is preferred. Background in hospitality, business services, or multi-location operations is an advantage. Location and Travel Remote position with location flexibility for candidates based near a major airport. Travel requirements of up to 25%, with potentially more frequent travel during the initial months to visit local teams, understand operating practices, and support successful acquisition integration.
