About the role
Sectra is looking for a driven and technically curious Integration Engineer to join their growing team. The role involves working directly with hospitals and health systems to design, implement, and support integrations that connect critical imaging and healthcare systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and support integrations between healthcare systems and Sectra solutions
- Work with standards such as HL7, DICOM, FHIR, APIs, and database technologies
- Troubleshoot integration issues and drive them to resolution
- Partner with customers, project teams, and technical stakeholders throughout implementation projects
- Analyze workflows and recommend technical solutions that improve efficiency and system performance
- Participate in customer meetings, technical discussions, and project planning activities
- Document integration designs, configurations, and best practices
Requirements
- Experience with healthcare IT, system integrations, interfaces, or interoperability
- Knowledge of HL7, DICOM, FHIR, APIs, SQL, XML, or related technologies
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Able to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Customer-focused mindset with excellent collaboration skills
- Passion for learning and working with new technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in healthcare IT or system integrations
Skills
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or C#
- Experience with cloud-based services and platforms
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
