Core Responsibilities
- Help design our next generation of products with manufacturability and cost in mind
- Prototype your designs and test against PRD specifications
- Work closely with Product to determine what approach best solves the problems of our customers
- Work with Manufacturing to get your designs into production
- Design and fabricate jigs for our production team to use while assembling hardware
Basic Qualifications
- Incredibly high agency and self-driven
- Proficient in CAD software (Solidworks, Onshape, Fusion, FreeCAD)
- Proficient in KiCAD
- Very comfortable with C++ for embedded targets
- Very comfortable with Python
- Can communicate technical information clearly and concisely
- Very familiar with FDM 3D printing, bent sheet metal fabrication, cutting injection molds
- 2-3 years experience as an Integration Engineer (or similar)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, and most important, integrating resistors
- Comfortable pushing at a fast but sustainable pace
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience in FreeCAD
- Worked with pick and place machines before
