Are you looking for an opportunity to create technical synergy that will modernize Space Electronic Warfare (SEW)? As an integration engineer, you’ll design, develop, and implement solutions for software integration projects across functions or between organizations that directly impact the Space Force. Using DevSecOps, Agile delivery, and user-centered design processes, you’ll work alongside software development engineers to integrate remote EW systems into one operating location, develop a Common Operating Picture (COP), mission management, weapon target pairing, scheduling, and execution of the mission in AWS environments.

You’ll use tools like GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes, Service Mesh, Jira, Confluence, Cameo or Magic Draw, and AWS to plan, organize, and conduct integration projects that meet design specifications and standards from inception to completion. This role spans systems engineering, microservices integration, cross-domain solution alignment, interface management, and mission-application integration across cloud-native architecture. The engineer will contribute to multi-vendor integration efforts, Agile and DevSecOps workflows, and operationalization of mission capabilities in partnership with Space Systems Command and mission operators.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute technical integration activities for the client's program.
  • Design, develop, and implement solutions for software integration projects.
  • Integrate remote EW systems into a unified operating location.
  • Develop Common Operating Picture (COP), mission management, weapon target pairing, scheduling, and mission execution in AWS environments.
  • Work with DevSecOps tools, CI/CD, configuration management, and secure repositories.
  • Contribute to software product evaluation and software quality assurance activities, including adherence to coding standards, secure-development practices, and verification of deliverable artifacts.
  • Collaborate with operators to understand needs, develop requirements, and translate those needs to development teams.
  • Apply software integration patterns across synchronous and asynchronous interactions, including request/response services, publish/subscribe models, event-driven workflows, distributed queues, and streaming data flows.
  • Support multi-vendor integration efforts and operationalization of mission capabilities.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in systems engineering, systems integration, or mission-system SE&I.
  • 3+ years of experience integrating software, microservices, mission applications, or test environments within DoD, EW, or space-related programs.
  • Experience working with operators to understand needs, develop requirements, and translate those needs to development teams.
  • Experience with DevSecOps tools, CI/CD, configuration management, and secure repositories.
  • Knowledge of software integration patterns (synchronous/asynchronous interactions, request/response services, publish/subscribe models, event-driven workflows, distributed queues, streaming data flows).
  • Knowledge of containerized architectures, cloud platforms, API design, or interface control.
  • Top Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting SEW, EW, RMT, Bounty Hunter, or Meadowlands ecosystem integration.
  • Experience in modeling, simulation, Linux environments, or configuration management for mission-critical operations.
  • Experience with operator-facing integration through touchpoints, demos, and UX-informed design.
  • Experience identifying, analyzing, and troubleshooting defects, including root-cause determination and retest validation.
  • Knowledge of API-centric and contract-based interfaces, versioning, schema evolution, and backward-compatible integration techniques.
  • Knowledge of MBSE methodologies, UDL integration, telemetry standards, and cross-domain solutions.
  • TS/SCI clearance.

Benefits

  • Health, life, disability, and retirement benefits.
  • Paid leave, professional development, tuition assistance, and work-life programs.
  • Dependent care support.
  • Recognition awards program for exceptional performance and demonstration of company values.

Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs. Individuals that do not meet the threshold are only eligible for select offerings, not inclusive of health benefits.

Pay

The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). Salary is determined by various factors, including location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, contract-specific affordability, and organizational requirements.

Schedule

This posting will close within 90 days from the posting date.

Work models include:

  • Remote: Primarily virtual, with occasional in-person requirements at a Booz Allen or customer facility.
  • Hybrid: Frequent work from a Booz Allen facility, with potential visits to customer sites as needed.
  • Onsite: Work primarily performed at a Booz Allen office or customer facility, with direct collaboration required.

Employees working virtually are generally expected to have their cameras on during meetings to support engagement and effective communication.
