About the role

The successful candidate will provide technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. They will perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
  • Analyzes are performed at all levels of total system product to include concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, and maintenance.
  • Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
  • Provides technical support to Coalition and MAJCOM training exercises.
  • Participates in software requirements development.
  • Reviews/write/update test plans/procedures and ensures they meet the objectives of the contractual requirements and participates in the testing process to validate requirements.

Requirements

  • 3 - 4 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience.
  • Familiar with basic scripting and software development concepts.
  • Prior software/hardware testing, analysis, and troubleshooting experience.
  • Must be a US citizen, able to secure and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience with MAF or other Distributed Training Networks and systems.
  • Experience with NGTS, other Computer-Generated Forces tools, simulated radios.
  • Analysis and troubleshooting of data in DIS/HLA simulation environments/networks.

Skills

  • Basic scripting and software development concepts.

$82 – 93K per year.
