Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction aligned with the college's strategic goals
• Evaluate students' progress to facilitate their educational goals
• Prepare lessons and provide course syllabi
• Verify student enrollment and submit grade sheets
• Prepare and enforce lab safety procedures
• Evaluate student performance and provide timely feedback
• Maintain office hours and communicate via email
• Refer students to support services and accommodate special needs
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Journeyman (or similar) status with 4,000 hours of documented work experience
• Knowledge of PLC’s, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical for industrial applications
• Mechanical and troubleshooting knowledge and skills including mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical operation, process, and control systems

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in related field with 4,000 documented work experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field with 2,000 documented work experience

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Strong organizational and time management skills

Pay

Rate of pay per contact hour:

• Less than a Master’s degree: $1,069
• Masters and above: $1,109

FLSA Status: Exempt

Schedule

Hours vary and may include day, evening, and weekend responsibilities. Courses are taught in a classroom setting and may include a lab component. Please indicate your availability in your cover letter.
