Integrated Solutions Intern - Summer 2027
About the role
This is a full-time internship opportunity for Summer 2027 working at our corporate headquarters in Des Moines, IA. The purpose of the internship position is to develop college students that are pursuing a career in supply chain, transportation, accounting, human resources, IT, or applicable division.
Interns may be exposed to a variety of projects and activities that occur within the transportation business. Interns will have the opportunity to apply knowledge and skills learned in college and demonstrate abilities in the workplace.
The position is temporary, nonexempt, part-time/hourly. Carrying out the Company's organizational values and operating in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Company policies are required functions.
Responsibilities
- Assisting in the preparation of reports and presentation material – 25%
- Provide day-to-day business activities focused on meeting internal and external customer needs – 25%
- Fully support financial business case analysis – 25%
- Participate in major cost and process improvement initiatives and projects, and provide technical support in managing the business unit's financial performance – 20%
- Perform other job-related duties and special projects as required – 5%
