Integrated Product Team Leader (Onsite)
About the role
Pratt & Whitney is seeking an Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leader to support the Compression Systems Engineering team within Engineering Support to Operations (ESTO).
Responsibilities
- Lead a multidisciplinary Integrated Product Team (IPT) supporting F135, F119, and rotating hardware programs, ensuring engineering deliverables are completed on schedule, within budget, and meet technical requirements.
- Manage engineering execution, including project planning, resource allocation, budget oversight, risk management, and milestone tracking while communicating program status to senior leadership and Military Component IPTs.
- Drive hardware investigations by partnering with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and suppliers to identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and execute engineering product improvements.
- Lead Class II Engineering Change activities and coordinate engineering evaluations, supplier technical inquiries, and non-conformance dispositions to improve product reliability and manufacturing efficiency.
- Mentor engineers while fostering collaboration, continuous improvement, and proactive risk mitigation across cross-functional teams to support operational excellence.
- Travel Requirement: 10%
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 8 years of engineering experience, or an Advanced degree in a related field and 5 years of relevant engineering experience.
- Qualifications We Prefer:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering; Master's degree or MBA.
- Experience supporting aerospace propulsion systems or gas turbine engines.
- Experience with compressor, fan, or rotating hardware engineering.
- Experience using Teamcenter, SAP, MS Project, or similar engineering/project management tools.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and leadership skills with demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams.

Engineering Support to Operations (ESTO): ESTO provides dedicated support by eliminating quality notifications, escapes, works stops and enabling producibility and delivery of legacy and new parts, assemblies, modules, and engines. ESTO covers all engine programs and part families, enabling engine deliveries, first piece reviews, first article inspections, analysis automation, process certification. ESTO also supports the Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) initiative in Operations. Technical disciplines in ESTO include Project Engineering, Mechanical Design, Structural Analysis, Product Definition, and Manufacturing Engineering.
Pay Range
$107,500 - $204,500
