About the role
As a member of the Integrated Logistics team at Kuehne+Nagel, you will play a key role in transporting goods, optimizing processes, and fulfilling our customers' promises. By transporting medicines, toys, and important machine parts, you are not only delivering goods but also making small and big moments possible for people all around the world.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and plan customer orders/shipments according to agreed-upon scope.
- Handle customer inquiries regarding visibility and status of shipments, answering questions and addressing potential issues.
- Provide front-line support for customers to ensure satisfaction with services and features, aligned with Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments, both at the customer site and across the Integrated Logistics organization.
- Coordinate transport services for customer orders using transport management systems.
- Handle manual order entries.
- Show ownership within your area of responsibility and execute tasks with expected productivity and performance.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Adhere to Kuehne+Nagel Guidelines, Standard Operating Procedures, and Working Instructions following business process mapping.
- Execute daily in-scope services, committing to a first-class level of order fulfillment, transport management, request and deviation management, visibility and monitoring, and claims processing.
- Receive and respond in a timely manner to requests from relevant stakeholders, such as customer requests.
- Adhere to and comply with all health & safety, quality, security, environmental, legal, and regulatory requirements, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Participate in quality audits related to general and client-specific quality programs.
Requirements
- 1+ years of working experience in logistics and/or customer service sector.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge and understanding of logistics.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Interest in working with transport management systems or warehouse management systems.
- Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a systematic, methodical approach to work.
- Ability to multitask and deal with different internal/external stakeholders at all levels.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
