Responsibilities
- Fundraising and Stewardship: Draft thank-you notes, emails, and other correspondence.
- Execute the donor acknowledgments process on a bi-weekly basis by managing the data and working with an outside vendor to finalize printed materials and mailings.
- Provide donor support through our 1-800 phone number and community e-mail inboxes, answering calls and e-mails and coordinating inquiries.
- Review lockbox files on a weekly basis to address donor comments and requests.
- Reporting, Tracking, And Operations: Maintain and update donor records and communication tracking in Raiser’s Edge.
- Generate and manage mailing lists to support fundraising and stewardship activities.
- Track donor interactions and ensure accurate documentation of communications across systems.
- Partner with the Operations team to track fundraising budgets and monitor expenses.
- Manage the account deduping process in EveryAction.
- Administrative: Schedule meetings, draft agendas, take meeting notes, make travel arrangements, process invoices, and complete expense reports.
- Track department inventory like donor swag, paper products, etc., and order additional stock as needed.
- Assist in the creation of PowerPoint presentations for internal and external use.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2 to 4 years of related work experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and basic computer operations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with confidence engaging donors and the public.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multicultural, diverse, and fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to work effectively as a member of a geographically dispersed team and to communicate with staff at off-site locations.
- Ability to handle sensitive donor information with discretion and care.
