About the role

We are looking for an Integrated Behavioral Therapist to join our team and care for our diverse patient population. The ideal candidate will have prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn. At Voyages Behavioral Health / PAM Health, we care for chronically and critically ill patients who require extended hospital care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide diagnostic assessments, therapy, and counseling and support services for a mixed caseload
  • Assist with the development of treatment plans
  • Conduct individual family assessments
  • Consult with attending psychiatrist or medical director concerning treatment plan and plan of care
  • Document interventions
  • Provide referrals to outside resources
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment team

Essential functions are critical or fundamental to the performance of the job. They are the major functions for which the person in the job is held accountable. The Therapist reports and is accountable to the Director of Social Services.

Requirements

  • Master’s in Social Work with independent licensure in LICSW or LMFT with supervision ability preferred
  • LPC and LGSW’s will also be considered
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Crisis management certification per hospital policy and standards required
  • State-licensed required in the state in which facility resides
  • 2-3 years of experience in diagnostic assessment and therapy services
