Behavioral Therapist (LMSW, LMFT, LPC) - PRN Days | Voyages Sugar Land

About the role

We are seeking a PRN Behavioral Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate should have prior inpatient hospital experience or a strong commitment to learning.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic assessments, therapy, and counseling and support services for a mixed caseload.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on individual and family assessments.
• Consult with attending psychiatrists or medical directors regarding treatment plans and plan of care.
• Document interventions and provide referrals to outside resources.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams.

Requirements

• Master’s in Social Work with independent licensure in LICSW or LMFT with supervision ability preferred.
• LPC and LGSW’s will also be considered.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Crisis management certification per hospital policy and standards required.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2-3 years of experience in diagnostic assessment and therapy services.

Skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of behavioral health principles and practices.
