About the role

Rockbridge Area Health Center (RAHC) is a Federally Qualified Health Center in Lexington, Virginia, seeking a Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, PsyD) to join an integrated primary care and behavioral health team. The position offers the opportunity to practice behavioral health in a collaborative setting while enjoying the lifestyle of Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley.

Responsibilities

• Provide mental health counseling and behavioral health therapy
• Conduct behavioral health assessments and treatment planning
• Provide ongoing therapy for mental health and substance use concerns
• Deliver crisis intervention when needed
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams in an integrated care model
• Serve patients ages 5 and older

Qualifications

• Licensed in Virginia as LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or PsyD
• Master’s or doctoral degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related field
• Eligible for FTCA privileging
• Current BLS certification

Requirements

• Experience providing mental health counseling or substance use treatment (preferred)
• Experience in integrated behavioral health or primary care settings (preferred)
• Applicants must not be sanctioned under Medicaid or Medicare
