Intake Therapist - Women's Justice Programs
About the role
This position does not require on-call availability. Therapists in this position utilize assessment tools to complete diagnostic evaluation of clients and communicate this information to the interdisciplinary treatment team. This includes clinical diagnosis, as well as screening for serious mental illness, substance use disorders, history of trauma, and co-occurring disorders. Conduct initial and ongoing clinical assessments, using established evidenced based assessment instruments. Information gathered from clinical assessments will be shared with other members of the interdisciplinary treatment team, for the purpose of developing an individualized, strength-based plan for care. Work collaboratively with client, other treatment providers, and family members or natural supports (when appropriate) to develop a clear plan for treatment. Treatment plans are created using a collaborative client driven process and will include measurable outcomes, treatment goals, documented progress, necessary interventions and after-care plans (when appropriate).
Responsibilities
- Utilize assessment tools to complete diagnostic evaluation of clients and communicate this information to the interdisciplinary treatment team.
- Conduct initial and ongoing clinical assessments, using established evidenced based assessment instruments.
- Share information gathered from clinical assessments with other members of the interdisciplinary treatment team.
- Work collaboratively with client, other treatment providers, and family members or natural supports to develop a clear plan for treatment.
- Create treatment plans using a collaborative client-driven process that includes measurable outcomes, treatment goals, documented progress, necessary interventions, and after-care plans.
- Carry a small caseload in addition to completing intake and update assessments.
- Assist in completing intake and update assessments across various programs within the division, including Specialty Court, individuals who are incarcerated, and individuals seeking or discharging from inpatient substance use treatment.
Requirements
- A master's degree in social work, Counseling Psychology, or its equivalent from an accredited school.
- Knowledge and experience in individual, group, and family therapy.
- Knowledge and experience in conducting mental health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Demonstrate a clinical family systems orientation and ability to work with diverse populations with multiplicity of problems.
- All Therapists must be eligible for licensing by the State of Oklahoma and must seek appropriate supervision to meet standards for licensure.
- Must possess a valid Oklahoma Driver License and have a satisfactory driving record.
- Must be ASI/ASAM certified or willing to become certified.

Pay
$82K+/year licensed Therapists/Counselors, $72K annually for under supervision Therapists/Counselors Plus $5,000 Sign-on bonus!
