Intake Specialist
Role Overview
As an Intake Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for potential clients, playing a critical role in their journey with our firm. Your primary responsibility will be to manage incoming calls from leads, providing a warm, empathetic, and professional welcome while efficiently gathering the necessary information to assist them. Additionally, you will serve as a backup receptionist, ensuring that all calls and visitors are greeted and directed appropriately.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls with a positive and professional demeanor, acting as the first point of contact for potential clients.
- Conduct initial screenings of potential clients, gathering relevant information while demonstrating empathy and understanding of their situations.
- Schedule consultations between potential clients and attorneys, ensuring a seamless transition.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all interactions in our client management system.
- Provide administrative support to the legal team as needed.
- Collaborate with the team to improve processes and enhance the client experience.
Qualifications
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a passion for talking on the phone.
- Demonstrated empathy and the ability to be an active listener.
- Previous experience in a call center or customer service role is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn new software.
- A team player with a positive attitude and a strong desire to help people.
- Experience in a legal setting is a plus but not required.
