Schedule
Full time, Monday - Friday; 8am - 5pm (onsite in Temple Terrace)
Responsibilities
- Understands and adheres to established policies and procedures.
- Collaborates with Central Intake Department and Clinical Supervisors to ensure appropriate staffing for all cases.
- Creates and maintains staff schedules, including coverage for sick leave, vacation, and long-term leave.
- Schedules client appointments and visits according to care plans and staff availability.
- Enters scheduling data and creates schedules.
- Contacts care providers and clients regarding day-to-day changes.
- Enters staff and client information into the database.
- Maintains staff and client statistics and reports.
- Performs general office duties including word processing, scanning, photocopying, filing, shredding, sorting/distributing mail, and providing reception and telephone services.
- Provides weekend, holiday, and on-call coverage as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Demonstrated knowledge of home health care services
- Knowledge and compliance with all local, state, federal, and other regulatory agencies
- A high level of multitasking, organization, and proactive communications skills
- Problem solving abilities

- Sound judgment and critical thinking skills
- Team and customer service oriented
- Ability to manage multiple details, tasks, and decision-making under busy and stressful working conditions
- Basic computer skills including but not limited to MS Office, MS Excel, and current Home Health scheduling program
- Skilled in use of current medical record software system (Preferred)
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
- Field of Study in Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, Business, Advertising, Healthcare Administration or related field
- 1+ years of medical office experience preferably in home health (Preferred)
- Valid Driver's License (Required)
Pay
$16.63 - $26.60 per hour
