Job Summary and Qualifications
The Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care per the nature and specific requirements of the department, and consistent with the scope and standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. In collaboration with medical providers and other members of the care team, the RN provides individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using established nursing models such as “Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.”
What You Will Do in This Role
- Assesses patient condition during admission and during each shift as scheduled and/or as needed, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
- Performs procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s).
- Documents the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
- Responds promptly to patient requests.
- Strives to anticipate patient needs and resolve them proactively.
- Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver a holistic patient treatment plan that promotes and supports recovery.
- Serves as the interface between healthcare providers and community support systems who coordinate ongoing care needs for specialized patient groups.
Qualifications You Will Need
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 7 days of employment start date
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date
- (RN) Registered Nurse (DL) Driver License
- Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree
- No Travel Required
- 1 years experience Required
