Responsibilities

• Achieves patient care through assessment, performance, teaching, and management.
• Monitors patient conditions, reports changes, and administers medications.
• Teaches patients and families about their medical conditions, treatments, and self-care.
• Manages a care team and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.
• Provides crisis management and therapeutic relationships to support patient recovery.
• Engages in professional practice activities and shares new knowledge to drive process improvement.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Knowledge of psychiatric mental health nursing principles and practices.
• Experience in a clinical setting, particularly in psychiatric care.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers.

Skills

• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage a diverse patient population.
• Knowledge of pharmacology and psychosocial interventions.
